We do not use any timber, we do not fell any trees and we save single use plastic bottles from filling landfill waste sites.

The issue with Timber flat roofs
For many years now the roofing industry have been changing flat roofs using timber or OSB Boards a composite of wood. The issue with using wood is two fold (1) wood is susceptible to holding water, bowing and eventually rotting and (2) at some point in the future, approximately 10 years the timber roof fails and needs to be changed again.
Three layer hot torch system
The traditional flat roof system is constructed using timber boards, we know these hold water and rot, finished with a three layer (sometimes two layer) hot bitumen felt torched to seal the product to the wooden boards. There are a number of issues with this method, the life expectancy of the product (approximately 10 years and then it needs to be replaced and of course water leaks.
